About Me
Dr Eu Jern Tan is a Specialist General Practitioner at Next Practice Braddon, providing comprehensive primary care to patients across Canberra and the surrounding ACT region. As a local Canberran, Dr Tan brings to every consultation a deep familiarity with the city, its hospitals, and the broader health services patients rely on.
Dr Tan graduated from the Australian National University Medical School, then completed his internship and residency training within the Canberra Hospital and Health Network. He went on to complete specialty GP training across the rural towns of the Riverina region of New South Wales. Dr Tan's experience working as a rural GP helped shape his confidence in managing the full breadth of general practice conditions, from straightforward acute presentations to complex chronic disease care.
Dr Tan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and continues postgraduate education in skin cancer medicine and surgery, an area of particular clinical focus given high rates of skin cancer in Australia.
